OUR CLUB
We are a local non-profit 501C 3 organization. Our mission is to create positive change in the South Florida community through fitness, charity and to raise awareness of the Polynesian Sport of Outrigger Canoeing.
Lanakila Iki Outrigger Canoe Club was established in 1997 and is located in Hollywood and is the oldest continuously operating outrigger club in the State of Florida. Lanakila means "Victory" in Hawaiian. Iki means "Child of" - so we are the Child of Victory
OUR TEAM
Our team consists of novice and experience paddlers from all over the world. We share the knowledge, and love for this sport.
As a team, we make sure to keep the Aloha spirit by welcoming new friends, having fun, and for those interested, enjoying competition.
Our club stays in a dynamic state of equilibrium, by constantly tweaking itself to maintain that Aloha spirit of a drama and pressure free environment. Allowing individuals to enjoy the beauty that is South Florida.
